Girl's Day leader Sojin said, "It was true that it wasn't easy to accept Jiin and Jisun's decision to leave the team. They each thoughtfully considered their own futures, so I had no choice but to accept it." Rather than feeling resentful, she expressed regret for the members who had been through thick and thin together. She added, "When we first met the new members, I think their cheerfulness helped us get over it quickly."
Hyeri, who became the youngest member of the team in place of Minah, said, "It's impossible not to feel pressured. The training period was short and there are many things I lack. I still get really nervous when I stand on stage. I think I'm able to do it thanks to the support of my older members."
Another new member, Yura, is similar. "I'm doing image training every day, imagining myself on stage. Right now, I'm cramming in in a month and a half what the original members have been building for over six months, so I'm quite sleep-deprived. Naturally, I'm also dieting (laughs)."
It's true that the addition of these two members has definitely changed the team atmosphere. Sojin said, "They're both very charming and bright. I think the atmosphere where we joke around and play around has become more natural. I'd say we've become more talkative."
Minah commented, "They both have great expressiveness. I think being on stage is a form of acting, and I think they're really good at that. This song has a stronger feel than before, and I think they're expressing that well."
The three original members can't help but feel nervous. Friendly competition has begun within the team.
Jihae, who was in charge of dancing and rapping in the team, said, "I personally thought I was strong in performance, but since the two new members are good at expressing themselves, I also have to work harder. I used to rap, but this time I'm greedy for vocals as well."
Each member's personal aspirations have become more concrete. Minah said, "Introducing Girl's Day to the entire nation is a priority. I also have a grand dream of traveling around the world and experiencing many different things. Musically, I used to like R&B, but now I'm starting to hear music with a strong performance and overall feel."
Sojin expressed her ambition, saying, "I've become more convinced that I'm a singer. I've been thinking a lot about how I can express the color of my voice more vividly. I'm going to work hard so that people can remember what kind of singer I am just by hearing my voice."
Jihae said, "In the past, my main interest was dance, but these days, it's music. I want to study music more professionally. My goal is to become a musician with a solid understanding of theory. I also hope to be able to teach students in the future."
Hyeri said, "It's important to make sure that Hyeri of Girl's Day is clearly remembered in people's memories. And I hope that Girl's Day's image will become more positive because of me. Right now, I don't need to worry about anything else and I just want to focus on this."
Lastly, Yura said, "I think this is just the beginning. My goal is to show different charms in each field like senior Lee Seung-gi. If I get recognized as a member of Girl's Day, I definitely want to try acting or MCing as well."
Meanwhile, Girl's Day will have their first comeback stage on KBS's 'Music Bank' on November 5th. During this comeback stage, Girl's Day will perform 'Nothing Last Forever Dance', a unique dance where they break up with their boyfriend, along with 'Nothing Last Forever'.
