It's been 2 months since i came back here on X. It's been tough as a Girl's Day OT4 fan. I'm doing backtracks everyday, checking new updates and watching their shows. Yura got two shows, one ended yesterday. There are some people who watches it and post clips on instagram but almost no one post on X or i'm lazy searching for anyone who even discusses it. Minah has a musical and we're lucky to see updates through anecdotes in X and instagram. Sojin has been missing in action but she posted throwback pics from 2024 this month. Hyeri is just the busiest. Being a fan of Hyeri, it's a constant joy seeing fans post everywhere. There's always something to anticipate when it's fridays whether it's a vlog or hyell's club. Her drama is coming soon too
For Minah, Sojin & Yura, It makes me a bit sad not seeing them in news related to drama or movies. I'm looking forward to see more projects from them this year. I don't know if Girl's Day 15th year anniversary is even worth anticipating but who knows. The fans, dai5y. I don't know. I just have to accept like i've been gone for 3 years so everyone must have drifted away. I'm still happy to see the old fans even though we rarely interact these days. I've been busy streaming Girl's Day on spotify, my goal is to be the top listener. It's possible. They still have 580k monthly listeners. I just want to see the possibility and how the streaming will calculate into wrapped. Maybe there's still dormant fans around, there's mostly new hyeri fans i guess because i gained 100+ followers so far. Maybe i'm doing the right thing or i just post a lot.
I'm trying to be active on instagram but i'm not just good on putting the work there. The chronological hashtag feeds there is a mess. I just leave it to other fans there because they're so good on posting, cross-posting and i'm only good on posting here on X. I wish our actresses to have better shows or content. Maybe popular shows guesting or be main cast on interesting shows. It's out of our control but we just have to be happy they're still out there, i guess. I'm just happy if they win an award or have a schedule that gives them articles and new pics.
Back in december, Minah talked about it on a radio interview that winning awards is not really important. Though it's recognition of their hard work, as an actress it's important to have constant work in the long run. I know she has an upcoming movie that she filmed in serbia. Her two movies got released just 2 months ago. I'm happy for her. She deserves more movies and drama projects with better scripts, cast and promotions.
I'm hyped for February, mainly for Hyeri's schedules. I need catch up on Minah's vlog, Yura EXchange spin-off show and other content from the past 3 years. It's a tough OT4 stan life lol. I'm enjoying every moment, though it's bittersweet. I hope everyone still enjoys Girl's Day content. Everyday is still Girl's Day.
